When I was prompted to write this review, I had completely forgotten that I had downloaded the book a couple months before. This time I read/skimmed up to the childhood and that was enough. I think I got this book when I was looking for/expecting something else. It isn’t what I was looking for, and doesn’t really feel right to me. I gave it two stars because it’s not hard to read. It’s like the facts were cherry picked and arranged to support some agenda or something.Just wanted to add something to this review. I guess I was looking for something more like “The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ” by Levi. I read this book many years ago. I happily gave it to a friend who literally could not put it down. I just found it on kindle and plan on reading it again.

Not bad. Got to reread it. Rosicrucianism is a bit suspect. Will withhold the final verdict when I'm done. We'll see.
A beautiful and alternative account of the life and mystery of Jesus Christ. For a modern reader it helps us understand much of the superficial/allegorical description that is thought us in the western world about Christian philosophy. It makes the drama of Jesus and his life become more comprehensible and at the same time adds important information about the life of Christ between the age of 12 and 30.
Though this book was written over 70 years ago, its author was not only a channel but had Rosicrucian archives from Europe at his disposal. In this way he was able to present information that can be trusted to the public -- information that had been secreted in vaults for centuries. Furthermore, his presentation was written in concise, simple language. Today, much of this information has seeped through the crevices, however this composite contains it all and was a joy to read by my 92 year old mother. Blessings, Carena del Uno
I love studying mysticism, but I'm also always very careful and prayerful not to get lost while searching for new incite. I'm sad to say this book has Bad energy, Evil Spirits how ever you'd like to look at it, they're attached to this book. I was fascinated by the book initially, but the Spirits on this one isn't good! Meant to sow confusion. I'd be proceed with caution.
Honestly , once I started reading Lewis' text I couldn't put it down. Truth seekers will find that much of what Lewis has to share resonates & helps to fill in the many gaps & inconsistencies scattered throughout the biblical text. It's amazing that this book is 80+ yrs old & people still choose to believe - not know - what they want about the formation of the bible & how the text deserves much scrutiny & questioning. You can question the bible & still love & respect the message & mission of Yeshua. It's OK.
There is a family who speaks to be of direct lineage to Jesus, there is even a road where he walked as he first arrived into that particular part of Spain. There is a Netflix doc which also speaks to this but pales in sustance.
I saw the film first , learned about "The Mystical Life of Jesus" by B.H.Spencer Lewis after, and wish I had read it first. A rare account of the Son of the Sun , The Christ; providing bridges and doors where none where before.
